  1. I am just curious of how to balance CNM obligations with raising young children. I can imagine in a 2 person household it can be challenging, but it almost seems impossible (right now at least) to manage in a single parent setting. I am just starting my nursing courses and have long dreamed of becoming a CNM. I'm just not sure if that dream is in the cards for me now as a single mom to a 7 and 2 year old....I want to know if/how others have managed.
  2. I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should take the TEAS V or the TEAS VI. I don't quite feel confident in my Science but I seem to be passing the other 3 sections with scores of 80%-90+% when I'm taking practice versions online (not the at practice exams). How heavily weighted are the sections of the current TEAS V? How might a really low score on the science section influence my overall percentage score? The school I am applying to only looks at the overall score, and requires a minimum of 58.7 to be considered. The whole unknown of the next version...I don't know if my school will shift the acceptance score to reflect the new exam....hmm what to do?
