  1. Yes, I FINALLY received an email just last week (August 11th) saying that I had not been accepted, they would not be able to give me any feedback on the decision and though I could reapply, I would have to wait a whole 12 months to do so! I actually had my application in for the priority deadline which I thought meant I would have received a decision within 14-21 days...that obviously was not the case. I had a great application advisor who was super positive and encouraging...but she may have been too good at her job. I had a false sense of hope from our communications. I really did hope to attend their program but sort of "got the message" with the never-ending delay in answer. I wish their first cohort the best!!!
  2. Hi! I also applied to the new FNP program at University of Southern CA by the priority deadline, 4 weeks ago. I have yet to hear anything. I dared to email my admission advisor a few days ago and was simply told that I am still under faculty review and to basically to be patient. I'm happy to report that I did receive acceptance into another program that I applied to the same day after only 2 and half weeks. I have to sign my letter of intent for that school within the next week or I will forfeit my spot. USC is truly my plan A so I'm very anxious to hear from them.
