  1. I am applying to CRNA school and I am mostly wondering if I should include CNA work on my school resume. Just because I was a CNA and unit secretary ( working with physician orders) for 3 years prior to RN in the ICU and telemetry unit. Other than that I have 3 years RN in a Telemetry/Cardiac step down unit -both surgical and medical, and almost two years in a CCU. I also am working expansion/float shifts in cath lab prep/recovery since January. I know that obviously if I can do RN work, I can do CNA work, but I was wondering If I should include it to show I have been working and been around ICU and medical field for longer, or if I should just forget it all together. Thank You
  2. Hello, I want to apply for CRNA school this summer. I have 2.5 years in a cardiac step down unit then 1.5 year experience in a cardiac ICU. In addition to ACLS and BLS, I am PALS, CCRN, TNCC, and Cardiovascular RN-BC. I did 40 college credits in high school through a college which were prerequisites for nursing school and had a 4.0 in those classes. I did one more year of prereqs and had a 3.9 I believe. Then I went to a 2 year BSN nursing program and my gpa there was only 3.08. My senior year I had a 4.0 but I struggled my junior year, anyway I took an 300 organic chem class this year which I got an A, and also a grad 600 level NP patho class which I also got an A. I need to take my GRE yet but then I want to start applying. Any more advice for me? Thanks!
  3. Hello! I just took my CCRN and passed. I used barron's CCRN EXAM book. It wasn't overwhelming at all and there are a lot of practice questions that are similar to the questions and the format of the questions during the test. Also, many of my co-workers usesd PASS CCRN, mostly used there online question bank. My advice is just do many practice questions.
