Need Help!
So, I'm between a rock and a hard place right now.. my current living situation is not healthy and it is affecting my school. I am 24 and have no current relatives that can help me with a place to live. I get financial aid that is unsub and sub that pays for my tuition and books but it is not enough to pay for living expenses. At the end of this year I will be done with my prerequisites. I really don't want to give up on my schooling and throw it all away because I am in a bad spot financially. Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you overcome it?? I was going towards Rn..but I think because of this situation I will be going for my Lpn instead and Rn later. Does anyone know of any good Lpn programs that are in the Tampa Florida area? Any advice right now would really help me out...I dont know what to do.

Applying to SCF with a low GPA score?
I am finishing up my prerequisites this year. I have 2 math classes, written communications, and microbiology left before I apply to get my associates in the RN program. My GPA right now overall is a 2.8. What are my chances of getting in, and if it is low what can I do to improve my chances. Nursing has been one of my biggest dreams, and I don't want to give up.

Hi everyone! So I was wondering who all are going to be registering for the nursing program next Fall? What are your thoughts and feelings? Have you had any experiences with registering before?

Nursing Program
I was wondering, I will be finished with my Prereqs next Summer, and if I was to get accepted into the nursing program starting in the fall would I be able to finish my two general classes at the very end of the program? Like I finish my program, but take the two remaining classes the following semester and then graduate? Please comment!

Microbiology
I'll wish both of us the best of luck! :) I know I should do well. I have no problem understanding concepts, it's just studying terminology is always a pain. I love Kahn Academy!! I've used that website quite a bit. That is weird. Maybe they plan on having you learn by watching videos??

Microbiology
So I am about to be starting a Microbiology class this Fall semester, and I am super nervous. Due to extreme life circumstances in the past I took A&P I, and written Communications I and ended up with C's in those classes. Those are some of my pre req classes, so these next upcoming semesters I'm really wanting to ace Microbiology and A&P II. The Microbiology Book I will be learning out of this Fall semester is "Microbiology 4th edition with diseases by Taxonomy. Written by Robert W. Bauman". Has anyone else learned out of this book? I'm looking for some study tips...because these chapters can get sort of confusing and it just seems to be loads of information. I'm open to pretty much any advice you fellow nurses or students out there might have for a anxiety-ridden college student.
