  1. Best of luck to you! I graduated in 2017 and even though the program was challenging, it feels great to have earned my BSN. There is a student Facebook group page with lots of helpful tips/support. Check it out if you have not joined the group already... URI RN to BS online
  2. You may wish to check out this thread... https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/uri-rn-to-1019476.html There is some info about the URI program on there. I am in my third session and taking my 4th and 5th courses out of 10 total needed. The program is set up well, but I would caution taking more than one course at a time. I took two courses the first session and it left very little time for anything else. The second session I took one course and it was less hectic. I am now taking two courses again and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Some of that is my own fault since I expect to earn an A in each course and put a lot of effort into each course. These courses are accelerated, so lots to do in a short amount of time. You may find it an easier transition since you will be starting directly out of the ADN program. Congrats on graduating this spring and best of luck!
  3. Congrats on your acceptance. Did you email or call the online nursing school to be sure NUR 247 is full and not a computer glitch? If you haven't already, I would verify since it would be odd that you couldn't take the initial course when accepted for that start date. Good luck!
  4. Thanks for all the info! I will begin in September, too! Definitely looking forward to getting started. I need 9 gen. ed. credits. I'm very happy with how many courses they accepted as transfer credits. Good luck!
  5. That's wonderful! Congrats! How many Gen Ed courses will you have to take at URI?
  6. Thank you so much for the update! You have taken a lot of courses already. Well done! Re: Gen Eds - are they offered over 7 weeks as well or do they run on a regular semester timeline? I'm assuming they can all be taken online since the program is offered in multi states. I guess my biggest concern will be how many of my prior classes will transfer over and count toward the Gen Ed requirement. Thanks again and the best of luck to you!
  7. Hello all! I applied to the URI RN to BSN Online Program this week. I am waiting for my transcripts to be sent to URI and hoping for the best. I received my ADN from CCRI and had begun the Salve Regina RN to BSN program many moons ago, but ended up moving out of state and without an online program, I could not finish. Have any of you started the URI program? I'm curious how everyone is doing and how they like the program so far. I also noticed there is a new general education criteria list that began this Summer. Does anybody have any info on this? Thanks for any and all input! ?
