  1. I passed. Already have my Actual LVN license and will now start working as an LVN in a few days! Worth the Wait!!
  2. Just in case you haven't started with your NCLEX-RN application. I graduated BSN in the Philippines (2012). I was in the same confusion as you are when I was starting to apply for my NCLEX-RN. I didn't know where to start either. So to maybe give you some help, here's what I did: I applied for my NCLEX-RN, went to their website, downloaded their form, choose to apply by mail rather than online, it's much easier with our complicated status as an international graduate. Fill up the form and send it to the board. But before I sent my application form to the Board there are some forms that the board needs directly from your school, one of them is the "Request for Transcript" and if I remember theres this "Breakdown of Nursing Program form" you need to send those forms to your school and ask them to mail it directly to the Board of Nursing in California. So I sent these requests to my school 1-2 weeks ahead of time before I sent the application to the Board. So processing times won't be wasted. Also, The way I did it is, whoever I was asking to help me process my papers in the Philippines, along with my Request for Transcripts and Educational breakdown, I attached a letter saying specific instructions on what to do with my forms, For example: Please kindly mail the forms to the BON in Ca on this address (Provide the board's address) after processing. All fees needed will be provided. That's what I did so that they are aware of the needed process. Then you just have to wait for a response. The way they responded to me is that they needed more requirements (SSN, CA id, and my OR-DR Cases). I processed these things again and sent it to the board. Then they responded with the Denial letter that I cannot take the NCLEX-RN until I finish the Classes they needed me to take. It will say on the letter that you have to finish those classes within 3 years or they will abandon your application. Since I already know that I will get denied due to the concurrency issues, rather than just waiting for my results with my application for RN, I applied for the NCLEX-PN at the same time I applied for my RN as to not waste any efforts. Now I am working as an LVN in California and I am now working towards getting into a school that will let you take independent classes, this is the challenge now because not many schools on the list that the Board provides with the denial letter will allow you to only take those classes that the board requires. Unless you live somewhere near San Francisco, good for you. If not, most of the schools will ask you to take the whole nursing program again. This is why I also applied for the LVN to have a back up plan if in case I get denied, which I did, that maybe being licensed as an LVN will help lessen the load of units when I go back to school cause you can have your transcript re-evaluated. I am on allnurses.com right now to see how I can work on getting into a school so I can take my NCLEX-RN, I only have 2 years before my application gets abandoned and restart the whole application process again:cry:, I came across your post and I just felt the need to give some help cause I feel your struggle. :)
  3. Yes, I actually did pass!! I just recently got my license a week ago. It was quite a wait but... Well what else can you do but wait? Hahahaha! So yes! I did! Thanks!.
  4. If it asks you to pay. Most likely you passed. I received the same letter that you did, haven't received any other letter than that, exactly a week after I took the test. Paid the fees. And I just got my license number today. Congrats! Now you have to WAIT EVER SO PATIENTLY after paying. Mine took 5 weeks. Agonizing wait but worth it!
  5. July 31st for this year is a Sunday. That's the weird stuff for me. Hehe. I didn't know they process checks on weekends. But anyways, hope you get yours soon!!
  6. OMG! I'm sorry! Update! I just checked online and my license number is posted online!! That's 5 weeks of waiting from the date my payment was cashed which was 7/31 According to the board.
  7. I arranged a flight to go to the board last tuesday. 9/6. To get a temporary license already cuz I was already hired for a job last 8/29 but can't start without any type of license. They told me they were still processing July 19 on the day I went to BVNPT. And my payment was received July 31st so I still need to wait for about 2-3weeks for the actual license or at least for it to show at the website. Oh and by the way, I lost my spot on the job already cause of all this waiting!!! I called them last month and they said that it should be on the website at least by this week. 2nd week of September that's why I started to apply for jobs already but I guess that was a wrong statement. Idk but everytime I call them the promised posting keeps getting moved and moved. Ughhh!
  8. Is that for check payments or online payments?
  9. No. I'm still waiting. I'm already thinking of getting a temporary license because I was already hired for a job. But I can't start until I get my license. And I'll lose my spot on the job if I don't get it soon! And they said that processing may be backed up a bit because of the upcoming Labor Day holiday. Omg this wait is too much!!!
  10. I took my NCLEX LVN on July 11th got my letter on July 18th. I've been trying to call the Board since morning, kept getting that automated message, so I tried calling again around 4:30PM, waited around 15 minutes, I finally got through and spoke to someone human instead of getting that "Volume is high" message. Anyways, I submitted my fee via check cause I had problems registering with the breeze, I had to email them before I got registered, but I already paid thru check before I even got registered with breeze. My check was received on July 25th (certified mail so I can track it) and was cleared on July 31st according to the lady on the phone. She said that it takes 4-6weeks from the date of the payment being cleared before the license number will be posted on the website and another 7-10 days for the actual license to arrive via mail. So she told me that I should be able to see my license number posted around 1st week to mid September. What a wait. ugh.
  11. Did anyone get their license already? I took my exam on July 11, 2016, got letter on the 18th, I got through in calling the BVNPT around 4:30PM today I tried, said the wait time was 24 mins but I actually waited less than that. I finally got to talk to someone human hehe. Anyways, She said my check got cleared on July 31st, she said that it takes 4-6 weeks for the license number to appear on the website and another 7-10 days for the actual license card to arrive. So she said that my license number should be posted around 1st week to mid September. I hope it does already! this waiting game is agonizing!
  12. Okay I've searched. I hope these kinda helps answer your questions. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-discussion/nclex-lvn-result-1034556.html CPR (Candidate Performance Report) only received by people who failed. There's a sample picture of the letter too. Candidate Performance Report | NCSBN Some say they didn't receive their "PASS LETTER" (Official letter, I suppose which is the one your friends have with the picture) until they got their actual license https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pass-or-fail-1054971.html like they say, if BON asks for payment, you passed. Otherwise, they won't ask you to do so.
  13. okay. You got me confused as well now and scared. Doesn't that letter where it says you met the requirements means you passed cause it asks you to pay $150? Is there a different letter? Cause I got the same thing. Paid the $150 with my check and it got cleared. Just waiting for my name on the site now and my actual license to arrive. I'm pretty sure that letter means we passed cause I have a friend that didn't pass and she got a different letter where they give you instructions on how to register again. She tested way before me around June and she waited exactly 6 weeks for her letter only to tell her she failed. While I got my letter before her, exacly a week after I took the exam which was early on July. They won't make you pay $150 if you didn't pass. It just says pending cause the process is slow even if it already took your money. It may have taken your money but on your bank account it still might be a pending transaction.
  14. Hi, I sent my check and letter the day after I received it. (7/19/16) I sent it thru certified mail and it arrived there (7/25/16). I just found out that my check has been cashed for the LVN license today. (8/02/16). How long before I see a license number posted online? And if it was posted online, how long before I get my actual license? I have jobs in line waiting and I can't so much without my license number at least.
