  1. Thanks for the reply! lol...im starting to think I should go back with everything I have heard...haha. I am actually not a new grad. I have been a nurse for 4 years...primarily in the ER and did work on a medical oncology unit as well. Right now I live in Broward County but my boyfriend and I were hoping to purchase a home up in palm beach county-which seems to be even worse for jobs lol. I look online and I see plenty of openings, but I know absolutely nothing about these places and am hearing such horror stories. Its frustrating. I'm not sure if I want to keep doin the ER...I'm pretty burnt.....
  2. Is there anywhere good to work in S. Florida? lol. I just moved here and now I am nervous...any tips?
  3. Hi everyone! I'm a nursing student in RI and I will be graduating in December. I'm very excited to start my career!! Currently I am taking a critical care class and have clinical in the ER. For clinical I have an Evidenced-Based project paper to do. The assignment says to identify a topic or problem based on a unit or patient care need. Then I have to review literature pertaining to the topic, summarize and analyze readings, and make realistic recommendations based on the current research findings addressing the topic/problem. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of topics/problems in the ER where there might be some good literature for evidenced-based practice. Thanks a bunch!
