I'm in the Dallas area as well! I applied to the online program. Going to try and work full-time while in school... crazy, yeah I know! *insert crying emoji*

Im pretty sure the learning and personality portions are required. But I could be mistaken. I'd contact your advisor and ask them what you should do.

Anyone who has previously taken Pharmacology and Pathophysiology have any advice for those of us taking it this semester? I wanted to get a head start on reading but my professors haven't sent out the syllabus yet

I'm pretty sure I was able to use the calculator on the computer. The math portion to me wasn't too bad and I finished with adequate time, but I enjoy Math :)

I hate that we have to wait until April to find out our status. I'm going to be on pins and needles until then Has everyone submitted the application for Fall 17?? Also, who all is taking Pharm and Patho at MVC? I'm enrolled there now so I'll be taking it! Maybe we can form a study group!

I just submitted my supplemental application. At the top of the supplemental application, there is a place where you can upload your HESI scores. I think you can also submit it to the Admissions office beforehand, and it'll automatically populate at the top of the supplemental application. If you open the supplemental application (you don't have to submit it right then) it'll give you more instructions/help.

I took it at UTA. I didn't recieve my scores right away. However, by the time I made it home, they were posted to the account I created to take the exam (Elsevier/EVOLVE, or something like that). Then the following week, they were posted to my UTA account automatically. They tell you this information on the day you take the exam as well.

Yes I'm already a student at UTA. I've been taking all of my science prereqs there to have another "consideration" I tried to start taking classes in January but my I don't think my application was accepted on time. They have pretty strict registration deadlines ..For Fall 2017 the deadline for the "2nd application - the one you need to complete to start the upper division nursing courses" is January 6th, 2017

I actually love my Micro and A&P2 online UTA professor. I had her for A&P1 and she is very knowledgable. She helps you understand the content and I really learned a lot from the course. She uploads her lectures and powerpoints from in-class so that helps a lot too. I got an A in A&P2 and I'm hoping to get an A in Micro as well. I think I'm going to get a B in Chem tho. Thats the hardest class I've taken online.

I think it depends on what you want your experience to be. I have a Bachelors and 2 masters already. I'd just like to learn the information, get experience, and start working so an online program is perfect for me. Someone else commented on another thread that they felt really prepared after this program as well so I think its a good option for those who are okay with a program completely online!

I'm taking Pharm and Patho together next spring! I didn't know they accept Pharm and Patho from DCCCD! I may do this instead. I've been using loans for my science prereqs from UTA and I'd like to save a little if possible!

Is anyone taking their pre-reqs online at UTA this fall? I'm taking Micro and A&P2. I'm still debating on retaking Chemistry over..

Hi everyone! I will be applying to start the program in Fall 2017 as well! I've completed all of my non-science prerequisites, and I'm currently in A&P 1. I'm taking A&P 2 and Microbiology in the Fall. I'm contemplating retaking Chem because I made a C at my previous college, but I'm hoping since I'll be taking 12 out of my 16 sciences at UTA, and that I have a previous Bachelor's and Master's degree, it can make up for it. Do you all think I should retake it? I'm doing really well in my A&P 1 (crossing my fingers for an A) and I think I'll do pretty good in my other 2 science courses as well.
