Which field of nursing is the most technically hard?
I totally agree with this statement. You will figure out what is most difficult/challenging for yourself when you get into different roles of being a nurse. Try out an area you are interested in that in your mind is super technical and then go from there. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to nursing.....thats the beauty of it! Best of luck!

What are/were your holy grail resources to pass nursing school?
Focus mainly on your professors power points/lecture notes. While in lecture- take notes on the printed out presentation slides. study those slides up and down after the lecture and if you have questions supplements with the required books for the class. Review your syllabus and make sure you understand the objectives listed on it. Make flash cards and stay organized using a desk calendar or personal calendar you can carry. GO TO OFFICE HOURS! Professors love to have engaged students and this is a perfect time to ask questions and have them get to know you (It can pay off for reference letters for jobs in the future) Download audio lectures on your phone and listen to them when walking to class, in the gym, driving on the bus, etc. BUT most importantly take care of you! nursing school is tough, but you can do it! Have fun, eat well, exercise often, and don't sweat the small stuff. You are learning and it takes time :) Best of luck!

Attending UCSF NP program and working
Hey! I will be attending UCSF this fall as well (in a different NP track). I plan on working part time in an outpatient clinic (a bit more relaxed of an environment than inpatient from my experience) to help keep myself a float while in school. However, school is most important, so I am planning to see how it works first semester and then reevaluate if I can continue working. Best of luck to you!

Hello! yeah, I live in the bay area. I think classes start like mid-september. Also, do you know if the peds specialty has sessions in the summer... (next summer 2018?) i know that some specialties do, but did't know about peds.

UCSF NP Program 2017
I sure do! I live in East Bay, so i will be commuting in. Thankfully we don't have class every day of the week! I am thinking about emailing someone about the next step, but I am unsure who that would be. I am so excited to get things rolling! I accepted the offer on Monday after deliberating and weighing the pros/cons over the weekend! This is going to be awesome!
