  1. Thanks for the info! And thanks for your concern- I know that it is almost impossible to get a new grad job, I'm planning to be flexible and commute out of the city :)
  2. Hi all! I recently graduated from a BSN program in New York and passed the NY NCLEX so I am in the process of applying for endorsement in California. I am told that I must take a microbiology lab and a physiology lab course because I never took those (they were not required pre-reqs for my nursing program in New York). Do you know if the California BRN will accept nursing pre-reqs from Excelsior? If not, can anyone recommend any online lab courses that the California BRN will accept? Thanks!
  3. I am in the exact same position as you. I'll let you know if I learn anything because I only just realized this today! Were you able to find an online microbiology course/lab? I have to do the same with Anatomy and Physiology labs (I took the lecture courses but not the labs for those two). Thanks!
  4. Hi All, I recently graduated from a nursing program in New York and passed the NCLEX exam there. I am moving to California and wondering if anybody can give me advice about licensure by endorsement. I cannot seem to find a list online of all of the courses that California is looking for when they ask for transcripts. My nursing school did not require Anatomy and Physiology LABs as pre-reqs, just the lecture courses, so I never took the labs. Will that prevent me from getting approved in California even though I graduated from a BSN program and passed the NCLEX in New York? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
