  1. Yes @MMA310. I'm in the winter cohort too 😎
  2. Hey guys so I just called Bellevue college to ask when we were gonna get more info about orientation and stuff and they said that we should get informed in August but they didn't say whether it was gonna be by mail or email. So just keep both addresses updated. 😜
  3. Hi Brent I am excited to meet you and I look forward to meeting you (all of you) in real life. I'm thinking maybe they will email us instead of sending another letter coz that might take a while.
  4. Second, I considered applying to the program there after I finished the prereqs they required but the chances of getting in are always slim to none. The wait lists are long and the nursing instructors are not all good from what I have heard from people who are in the program. So if I were you I would look into applying somewhere else in addition to TCC. I used to meet with my advisors and all they would tell me is that I need one more class or my gpa is not high enough or I need to retake a class until I just had enough so I started exploring my options outside of Tcc and luckily I just got accepted to Bellevue college for winter 2017. So I think U should also do the same. Good luck.
  5. Hi there. So I have two things that might help. First about financial aid, if you are just taking ur prerequisites then they won't cover but if in ur records u write that u are pursuing the 'associate degree in pre-nursing' then u will get tuition for 2 hrs since it is a 2yr school. This is how I got thru my prereqs and I ended up taking all the pre nursing classes anyways after summer I'm getting my degree in pre nursing. So go to the financial aid and tell them ur major is pre nursing.
  6. Hi there. At some point I felt that way too until I stopped focusing on just one school. Go to google and search '2017 Doh approved nursing schools' and it will give u a list of all nursing schools in the state. Different schools have different requirements but the prerequisites are almost the same. Try applying to multiple schools and keep an open mind that u can go to any school instead of just can focusing on one. I hop I helped a bit.
  7. Hello @MacHead4Life I'm Cynthia. I'm 22 and I got my acceptance letter about 3 days ago. I can't even explain the excitement. At first I applied for the fall cohort and got wait listed then I reapplied again. I'm so envious that u have had the chance to work at Swedish. I am also a CNA in a hospital in Tacoma and I have loved the experience so far. Anybody know when the orientation date is and what step to take after this? I paid the 50$ fee and now I'm just waiting to know what else to do next.
  8. You're right 'Moxielu'. Fall is pretty hard to get in. I had a TEAS score of 83 and I didn't make the cut. However I applied again with the same scores for winter and now I'm in.
  9. Hey guys I just got accepted to the nursing program in Bellevue College for Winter '17. I'm so exited. I applied for fall '16 but I got wait listed then I applied again and got in this time. 😌
