  1. Hello, I am interviewing. I have nearly 1.5 years of RN experience with an MSN (non-advanced practice. It is in RN leadership/education). I still want to do bedside instead of seeking an administration job. I did a Versant/RN residency program. Most places aren't offering more for an MSN except for JPS. I am posting what I know, hopefully it will help yall too. Are these typical or still room for negotiation? -Baylor basepay (BP) is $28, $5 night, $6 weekend. -JPS Fort Worth BP is $29.50, $3.25 night, $7.2 weekend. (I was told their weekend night is considered Friday thru Sunday nights). -THR Arlington BP $26, $4.25 night, $5.75 weekend. FYI: Baylor starts out at $25 for new grads; q6months $1.00 increase in pay. At 1 year, $27.00. THR starts out at $25.14 for new grads. At 2 years, $27. At 3 years, $30
  2. I did mine on Saturday and my GN status is gone today, Monday, at noon. My friends who took it days before me got their unofficial pass and their GN statuses are still active or was verified on BON as RNs. The ones who failed are also taken off Last night I checked and mine was still there... maybe this is an indicator I failed. But paying $8 to know I failed officially is a bummer. Surprisingly, I have patience to wait six weeks.
  3. So I did 265 questions in about 2.5 hours. I'm usually very slow but I didn't wanna second guess or doubt. I did that method for the HESI and passed on first attempt (hesi isn't a good indicator of nclex imo now that I ruminate on it). On nclex, I was in shocked around 100 questions and thought "if I fail, just let it end now bc it's torture" then around 200, I was like in automatic mode. And sped faster. Then I remember kaplan said something about question 264/265 At question 264, I got a SATA of what to say to the pt and 265 was the nurse is correct if she said... So, I think I messed up big time since those two questions seems to be/are below passing range? 265 is an understanding question, regardless of right/wrong, but it's not a passing question. Anyone else wanna share their experience? My result will be in a couple days. Kicking myself now for not going slower. I have braced myself if I need to take it again.
