Dancer24ish, I received a decision from College Station, but it was for the traditional program. That could mean that maybe they're working on getting 2nd degree decisions out for CStat now since they just finished up with traditional decisions!

I think they only waitlist a few people! They have few seats to begin with so they probably don't waitlist more than like 10 people.

Thanks y'all! And yes, I got an email this morning with subject line "Texas A&M College of Nursing - Admission Decision" and was given until Monday to accept or decline. I accepted!!!

I got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received an email accepting me to the traditional program for this spring!!!!!

They sent it to your Patriots email account. If you didn't get anything, I guess maybe they could be doing a second wave of acceptances tomorrow? Or waiting to see if anyone declines their offer?

They sent rejection emails today.

I've also never had an advisor assigned on my account. I'm an external applicant though.

Did anyone else's "compliance training" disappear off of their To-Do list without them ever having actually done any training?

I hope there's a second round of acceptances, but I'm not sure there will be since they've already sent out waitlist emails. I'd think they'd just be taking people from the waitlist to be accepted at this point, wouldn't they? I haven't received a rejection (or anything else) yet, but I'm preparing for one now...

People who were waitlisted, what are y'all's stats?

Rangel17 said on October 18th that they'd been accepted to the accelerated program. They're the only person who has posted about being accepted to that program though.

I'm also waiting for my rejection letter. I'm guessing they'll be sent November 1st since the admissions office said we should hear by then.

Did they send you an email telling you that?

Futurern1917, I looked at a couple apartment complexes, but there's just so many options down there that I feel overwhelmed trying to choose a place to live! I might be looking for a roommate if you're interested!! Guitarhamster, hope to see you in the spring if you do stick with UTMB!! I think some applicants view UTMB as less competitive to be accepted into is because they have the facilities to accommodate a larger number of students in each cohort and therefore are able to offer twice as many acceptances. Have you gotten a chance to go down there and attend an event at UTMB? If you get the chance, I'd suggest going down there and checking out the campus because it's actually really cool and the students there are really nice and will take you into the labs and stuff to look around with them if they're not busy.

TXnurse202, are you a traditional applicant or a second degree applicant? Anyone else get that second background check email about calling in with your SSN? I got so excited when I saw an email from the CON, but it was just about the BON background check.

I don't think you'll find an X there because rejections aren't being sent out yet. It'll either have a green check or there should be no change at all.

People in the other thread have started to post that they've been accepted through the admissions portal. Anyone in this thread have a green check for their admission status now?

Tesstex, I haven't heard anything at all from UTHealth regarding my admission status yet. (Wish I had tho!) My portal hasn't changed at all. I just know what the acceptance looks like because I was accepted to UTMB in Galveston and they use the same portal system.

What are your stats?

Do you already have a bachelor's degree or are you still working on your first degree?

They use the same system as UTMB and a green check means admitted while a green circle is just complete.
