    AANP, FNP 2016 Exam

Hello. I failed back in May. Taking the exam again Aug 26, any tips/advise/sharing noted highly appreciated. my email is meeshapuri@gmail.com. Thanks!
  2. It definitely took me that whole day and some of the next to feel better. But the test is what it is. Does not disqualify our skills and education. I'm using Fitzgerald MP3 so far. Need to get to more of the questings. Have already reapplied to take in about 1 month. May push is back a few weeks. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. And try not to be hard on yourself at all. Many have failed over 4 times. I know I'm not a good test taker but I know I'm a good fnp! Xo

    AANP, FNP 2016 Exam

Hello. I took the exam June 10th as well in California and failed. I'm a nervous wreck, a horrible test taker and get test anxiety. I studied using the Leik, some fitzgerald, exam edge and apea questions. I tried to study for 2-3 months, but was very hard with a painful back, 2yr old, rocky marriage and 32 hour work week. Any help, advise? I plan to retake in about 5-6 weeks as my job is depending on it. Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello. I took the AANP last Friday June 10 2016 and failed! Feel horrible. Am working as a np (in California) and my job is at risk. I have a toddler, major depression and anxiety, and a marriage that's on the brinks of falling apart. Not to mention a recent herniated disc and spinal stenosis. Anyways my jog suddenly told us around February this year that we needed to be certified by 'June 1' then they changed it to 'aug'. It was too late to postpone the test. Well took it 6/10 yesterday and I failed. I studied examedge, leik, some of Fitzgerald, AANP practice exams, and two apea exams. Did prob over 800 questions. This is my second time failing. First was in 2008. I was scoring 68-70% on the predictor exams. Any help/advice/guidance would be appreciated. I felt prepared for the exam. But the questions were so off from what I expected and my text anxiety kicked in. I'm a horrible test taker. Also I felt this AANP exam was very hard. Heard somewhere that sometime they do that. Is the correct? Sorry for the long rant. Just feeling terrible and lost. I do plan to take it as soon as I can. Am hearing 5 or 6 weeks? Thanks in advance all! Help please!
  6. Yes. Am in California. Not all places here required it. But Medicare changed their requirements just this year. Sucky part is work didn't give us enough of a notice.
