Hi, everyone! Congratulations to everyone who got in! I received my acceptance for the fall semester September 2019 start date but have decided to decline. I got accepted to the other school I applied to and have decided to pursue my FNP there instead. I will be starting in August. Good luck to everyone!! ❤️

Congrats! Not that I know of. But there were 5 (including myself) that interviewed on the same day and we all also got in and have exchanged contact info on interview day and have been keeping in touch ever since. Hello! Just updating - I had my interview a few weeks ago and I got my acceptance a few days ago. c_sanangelo Any word from the school yet? I was able to meet a few ladies during the day of my interview and luckily we all got in and have been keeping in touch.

Sure, I got my BSN from UT Arlington (did the RN to BSN program online). My GPA is 3.8 from what I remember.

I spoke to someone the other day from UTA and she said that they only review applications for a specific semester closer to that actual semester. She said for the September start date, we should hear something by June to July, early august at the latest. I wish we could hear back sooner but ??‍♀️

Yeah, they definitely are expensive. It was almost a deterring factor for me but I really liked being able to not have to go to campus at all. Hopefully we both get in!! ?? I was wondering the same thing too. By the way, where are you from? I’m in Houston near Cypress.

I’m assuming so. About interviewing all applicants, I’m not sure about that. She didn’t say, although I highly doubt that they would, depending on how many applicants they get for a specific term. I applied to UT Arlington’s program. They also accept applications on a rolling basis. I did my RN to BSN there and had a good experience but they’re program is more expensive than UT Houston’s and I actually prefer a college close to home in the case that I want to reach out personally to a professor.

Hi again ? I put my application in very recently (3/29/2019). Honestly, I didn’t even know there was an official due date for this semester other than the fact that they are accepting applications thru to July 2019 ? When was the actual due date for applications? I spoke to someone a few days ago and she said that they are already in the process of reviewing applications and expect that the last decisions for interviews should go out before the end of July. When did you put your application in and did you apply to any other schools?

@rdennis4, I'm not sure how they calculated my GPA since I started with my ADN and just now finished my BSN. But for both programs, my GPA was over 3.3. Also, we started a group on Facebook which makes it a little more user-friendly to communicate. Me and another student were accepted and the other 2 have already submitted their applications. The Facebook group is "Loyola University New Orleans - BSN to DNP 2017". hope to see you there!
