  2. Just got a call saying I was accepted [emoji16]
  3. Since this thread seems so quiet, maybe a lot of people didn't apply for fall. If that's the case then Good luck everyone on getting accepted. Also if anyone gets the first acceptance call plz let us know ty
  4. Awesome job bud. Can't wait for the madness to get started .
  5. Martin how did the hesi go
  6. I'm a crammer. Bad habit but found something that really worked and stuck with it. What I did was copy paste all of the PowerPoint slides into bulletpoint format. If you have taken comm 101 then you know what I mean. Once organized I would read one sentence out loud two to three times, then without looking at the page I would try and remember and say it 10 -15 more times out loud. Then move one to second sentence. After completing a page I would review and be able to say almost every sentence in my own words. Worked so well that for finals I just reread all my self made study guides once and did very well. Not perfect but got me A's throughout prerequisites. Now I'm waiting for an acceptance call to the fall program at UNLV. Good luck just remember to take bits and pieces from people's ideas and create a study method that works for you.
  7. Hi medulla, you did awesome on the exam. I honestly can't wait for fall to start. Trying to be proactive yet everywhere I'm reading that it's gonna be so hectic and that we should be enjoying the time we have right now.
  8. Print the point sheet from this link and calculate. It's very simple and easy to do. https://www.unlv.edu/sites/default/files/page_files/27/Nursing-CalculationWorksheet.pdf
  9. What I would do: 1. Talk to a counselor to make sure your college accepts a C minimum. 2. Then work your butt off to score A's in A&P 2 and micro to remain competitive. 3. Don't worry about the hesi until you get to that point otherwise you will only overwhelm yourself. Take it one step at a time. Trust me I did all my prerequisites while my gf was prego/had first child and mom undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. It's not easy but neither is life. Good luck to you [emoji123]
  10. Hey guys I just did my signing session yesterday at the counsellors. I have 94.42 points. I was wondering how everyone else did. Also good luck on the hesi guys/gals . It was nerve wrecking until u actually sit down and start the exam. Good luck
  11. Hi nurse_akali, it is true that there are 30 ap questions. When I took the exam it said 30 but stopped at 25. Also on my completion page at the end it shows that I got 23/25 correct . Hence the 92% for the ap portion. Hope that helps [emoji16]
  12. Hi medulla, there are 25 ap and 55 grammar, 55 reading and 55-65 math qs
  13. Hey bud I just took my hesi exam today and scored 92%. For math, grammar, and reading the hesi A2 study guide is extremely helpful . As far as ap goes I used ap crash course on YouTube .. Good luck on your exam
