I'm starting the FNP program at utep next month do you have any tips.

I'm an l&d nurse and I have been a nurse for 4 1/2 yrs I'm starting my FNP program next month. I do have a background in other areas of nursing but I don't think you'll have a problem. If that's what you want go for it.

Hi I just started my FNP program and I'm looking for a preceptor.I don't start clinical till the end of next year but I hear it's very hard to find a preceptor in Austin. I'm willing to travel to the surrounding areas. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me some guidance. I did not want to wait last minute and not be able to finish the program because I don't have placement.

Congrats I have not received any additional information . They told me they will sending out more information so we can accept the spot in the program. They also previously told me it is Dec 5th and 6th I think 8-5. Do you reside close to El Paso ? Do you know how many people in the class?

I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't be discourage and don't give up you'll become an FNP just hang in there.

I have applied to the program also. I seen your from Austin is that correct? The reason why I'm asking is because I live in Austin and I'm trying to see who else has applied to this program.

I called them today and they said they getting the acceptance and denials in today. They will send out official letters till next week. I was able to give her my ID number and she was able to let me know if I was accepted or not. Good luck :)

Hey seen that you got accepted congrats. I'm applying for FNP program they called be to schedule an interview. I have no clue on what to expect do you have any suggestions? Good luck in the program.

I also have applied for the program for the spring 2017 semester. I haven't heard anything back yet. I was also wondering about the interview questions if anyone has any advise please PM me I would greatly appreciate it.
