Safe to say if we didn't get a call yet we didn't get in?

Now I have a pit in my stomach (Pun intended LOL). But seriously the thought of not getting a call is making me want to vomit.

LOL I totally agree. Mine submitted theirs back in February. I hope it means they are finishing the process. I need a call today! I'm putting it in the atmosphere LOL.

Pretty sure that was an automated response to all recommenders that they did through NursingCas. I tried not to get excited about it. But I do hope that maybe a decision truly will be made today. The wait is the worst part smh.

My personal statement was a page. I had read somewhere to limit to a page so I did.

At the interviews this past Thursday, the Director said that there will be a total of four interviews so two more. And that they will make their final decisions by the end of June. He said that only top candidates will be notified prior.

Has anyone received an email with the interview details for next week?

Hello, I was just offered an interview in person in two weeks. Anyone have any insight on what to expect with the in person interview? Is the interview mainly EI questions? I'm very nervous I honestly didn't think I'd get offered an interview compared to others stats. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. First interviews after several instant denials.

He honestly didn't mention anything about who they are interviewing or which group. But I live out of state so I had to book a flight. They may be making more calls on Monday, I got a late call on Friday. He gave quick information and ask what time I wanted to interview but more information would be sent in an email next week. But I know applications are still open so I think theres another interview in May/June. I submitted on 3/1.

Anyone else get a call this weekend? Another interview in two weeks but is in person.

Students' acceptance into a program is dependent on how well they do in the LEAP program. They must be successful. Students find out where they are placed at the end of February early March. You provide a top three rank and they try their best to accommodate but not always guaranteed.

Has anyone heard anything? I'm starting to get a little discouraged hope I hear from them this week.

Do you know if they were informed via email or phone? LOL I've been checking my email every couple of hours.

Thank you for the update. I applied early so I have some time to wait. If I'm being honest IDK if I'm the most competitive candidate. I have been an ICU nurse for 4 years specialty is CCU. I have my CCRN and CMC. My GRE was 306. My downside is Nursing is my second degree and my first degree I graduated with a 2.5. With Nursing I'm at a 3.8. but a lot of schools just see the 2.5 which sucks because that was 10 years ago. I have retaken some classes and 4 grad classes as well and received an A in them.

Did anyone have issues with the admissions receiving your reference through NursingCas? They emailed me about them missing but they were submitted NursingCas I don't have access to them.

Just submitted for Spring 2024. Figured I'd start a forum. Applications due 4/1 and I submitted last week. I haven't heard anything as of yet.

I just received last year's timeline from a current student in the leap program. Applications due: Feb 15th Invitations: March 15th Interviews: March 31st Acceptance: April 15th Program starts: June 15th So looks like we may have a couple more weeks to wait. Are ya'll still applying to other programs in the meantime?

Yea I got a rejection. It was the first year of the program. I also applied late so IDK if that had anything to do with it. But this time I applied early LOL. And I got my ccrn and cmc. I also took some grad classes. So hopefully I get an interview this time.

I've gotten denied before as well. But since then I've gotten my ccrn and cmc and taken some graduate courses so I hope this will make me more competitive.
