  1. lol take the others advice, nursing school is stressful enough don't add on any more unnecessary stress and drama.
  2. so if he's a CNA how did he get a intern RN position, so weird lol.
  3. whatttt that's not old at all lol go for it. there was a lady in my class who was 60 and starting nursing school.
  4. Thank you everyone for the advice :)
  5. Hi everyone I just passed the nclex PN about a week ago and recently got hired at a methadone clinic, while I am excited to start my career in nursing I have a few concerns. One of my concerns is not utilizing all my nursing skills that I have learned in school such as wound care, Injections and even routine vital signs, this is making me very uneasy because when I actually want to do floor nursing I think I'm going to feel lost. Anybody else went this route and have any advice they can offer? Thank you.
  6. I was in the same boat as you last week, I also studied from the Saunders book and literally did over 1000 questions and I agree with you 100% that none of it helped me for the actual nclex. My test shut off at the minimum number of questions(85) and I instantly felt like I failed, but just like you the questions kept getting harder and there was many select all and delegation questions. I took that as a good sign because I found out that I passed two days later. Just try to relax and try not to stress over it too much you probably passed it :)
  7. I just took the NCLEX PN test a couple weeks ago and passed with the minimum number of questions. I studied for about a week with the Saunders book and the Pearson NCLEX Cram book, just try to do as many questions as you possibly can. From my experience there was a lot of maternity child and mental health so def read up on those subjects. Best of luck to you :)
