Can you get m6 through the NG? Just wondering about it.

yes you can. You would be enlisted, and you prob would get higher rank. I think you would still have to go to 91w school, emt training... first responder stuff and all. You want to go to RN school right away go reserve, they do have a program that will send you to school for RN but you might have to wait and all... this program is for active.

I'm going to meps this tues... I made the scores for m6 but they recruiters are already giving me a problem... it hard to get into they say... you can go 91 w first and then do m6... they make it sound like breaking into fort knox... I wonder why they say this? Is it because they have to many already going into this field or what!! I'm prior so they prob. will tell me something like you can't go into that, its only for newbies. Well at least my dad is going with me to help me talk to the meps guys and read the contract. Feel kinda silly cause i've done this before but I hate talking to those guys, their so pushy. any advise? thanks christy

I don't think that you get credit for Ana 1 or 2 or micro, none of those. I talked to a LPN on base ft. jackson and he said you get 57 hours but I believe that is what you get at a school that offers LPN. So you could check out the specs at a school with an LPN program. hopes this helps christy

I don't think it's a stupid ? at all. Anybody who doesn't ask that question is the naive one. I've served in the military and going back in, quess what I asked that question to. It should be noted by those going in that the chance of going to Iraq is very good. I don't think its a stupid ?... do I want to die... do I want to be in a big sand pit... do I want to kiss my family, daughter, sister, brother goodbye, and never see them again. Personaly I don't want to go to war with someone who hasn't asked themselves this questioin! To those who want to respond with a nasty comment don't bother, I really don't care.
