  1. Hi, I'm trying to get into an ABSN program in the New England area of the United States. So far I've found St. Joseph's in Standish, Maine and northeastern university in Burlington, Mass. These schools seem to have all year round cohorts and their programs last approximately 15 months. I got a C in Microbiology and these seem to be the only two colleges that will accept my credits from 2017. The problem is both schools seem to have terrible reviews online. Most schools have a cutoff of a C+. My Microbiology grade is the only pre req that is in the C range. Does anyone know of any decent ABSN nursing programs in either Maine, Mass, NH, or Vermont?
  2. Allison I think you are competitive. They probably will not hand out acceptance letters until after the application deadline. I am applying to USM as well.
  3. For people that attended the absn program at roseman university what did you do for housing and how much did it cost a month?
  4. I'm looking into becoming a nurse as a second career. I have a bachelors in computer science. I took an lna training course and have 4 months of experience in a long term care facility. I decided that my skills hit a point where they were not really growing and left on good terms. I'm looking basically to get into the hospital environment on the weekends while attending classes on the weekdays. The hospital states that they want a year experience on the application. What could I do to stand out and not just get my application tossed out?
