Do not let my incident scare you away . Just remember to be extra careful with everything . Also if your manager does not like you get out ASAP. Managements word is gold and mine is well you see what's happening . thanks

Thank you . Thoughts keep running through my head on what will the surprise be. My lawyer is on the ball but not sure how much more I can afford to keep him. Looking over bills never & not sure how this is going to work out .

Behavior issues have never been documented. My charting I guess is sloppy. I was told yesterday that I was fired for diversion and being reported to the state. My attorney contacted a top executive of the hospital at headquarters. He was told that my drug test is clean and there is no evidence of me taking meds but my charting shows otherwise. Not really sure what to make of that. So things went from bad to really really bad. I am confident that I will not be charged with diversion because it never happened. I was told from a few co-workers that HR is investigating my claim that the manager was harassing me. Apparently a few employees contacted HR and said I was treated unfairly. Really not sure how much that will help because I still was reported to the state.

Well my manager called me and said I had until the end of the phone conversation to resign. I asked about my drug test results and she said it camp back clean. She told me I had to many errors and behavior issues (1st time I ever heard that one ). I told her I could not resign for no reason. She warned me that it was the last time she was going to ask before firing me. I asked if I could call her back after discussing it with my family . She said now or your fired. So she fired me. I am so screwed in life and not sure what to do.

I still have not heard anything. A friend of mine suggested I contact The Business Of Integrity Department of the hospital I work for. I have never heard of them. Doing a little research I see they work from headquarters and one of the things they do is investigate complaints at a higher level. Has anyone ever dealt with them and could they be trusted. They are paid from the same company they would be investigating. I have not asked my attorney because everything is a wait and see approach with him. Waiting is killing me

My attorney has made Upper management aware. Meanwhile I am still sitting here not working or knowing whats going to happen

My attorney believes they are assuming the meds are not being given to the patient. That is why they are saying previous nurse gave no meds & how many more patients like this will we find. I am certain many RNs have given meds to a patient that did not receive any from a RN they relieved. Once in 15 years I had a patient say she did not get her meds. That patient had a history complaining about meds. So we believe once the drug test comes back clean they will search to see how many more patients they can find. Question is what is the magic number of patients they are looking for ? What number are they looking for to fire me. They found only one going back 6 months.

Yes , that I gave my patient meds that were prescribed by the Dr as needed but the RN before did not. I have been working there awhile and I am sure they might find another patient. When they asked to explain I simply said I can't speak about what the RN before me did and how the patient felt. I swear if someone else posted this was happening to them I would think it was a joke.

I did contact my attorney. We need to wait and see what becomes of this first and act on that. I am not in a union or under contract . We did start paperwork on harassment and I made HR aware of it. Really not sure what battle we are fighting here. My drug test will be clean so not sure what will come next. I am in contact with my attorney daily and gives. Getting advice from other RNs on this forum helps and I really appreciate it.

It is bizarre. My co-workers are in disbelief. I believe they still suspect me of something. I was asked if they investigate more of my patients would they find more. It was as if they were hoping for a confession. All these years I have never been questioned about anything. This manager is up to something and I pray to God it works out so I can find another work place.

I was questioned about a patient I gave pain meds during my shift. Manager was asking why the nurse I relieved did not give that patient any meds. I could not believe that was all they had to say I was pissed. They asked me to do a drug test which I did. I still can't work until further notice. I still have no idea where they are going with this. I also realized today that my manager does not like me. I had no idea .

During our brief phone conversation I mentioned that I will take a drug test. HR replied by saying there are other ways of diversion. I do not get it. My drug test would be clean and there is no way possible they have anything on me taking/selling because I never did that. I can not sleep at night or stop crying this is my life.

Yes HR said Drug Diversion. I was flagged by the pharmacist . I have a upcoming meeting with HR , pharmaciest and my manager I believe . I do know for sure that I did not take or sell anything. Just crazy because I am not sure what I am walking into.

Hello I have been a nurse for 15 years. The other day I received a call rom HR saying. I was red flagged by the pharmaciest. Therefore I am susspended until further investigation. On Monday I have a meeting about what is going on. I am scared to death as my income is all we have for my family of 5. I am being accused of drug diversion. Part of me is not worried bc I am inncocent. Willing to take drug test or whatever they want. What should I expect and why the acquisations ? Has anyone been through this?
