  1. I would think so but I'm not finding that to be the case with many of our new grads.
  2. So would I but I'm finding with our new grads they don't have these skills
  3. New Grads: If there was a class offered for new grads would it be of interest to you? Topics covered -Critical thinking skills -Time management -Charting -Basic meds used in the ICCU, ER and telemetry -identifying a deteriorating patient -identifying a septic patient -Rapid Response Is there any other topics you'd want to see covered and would this be a class/seminar you'd be willing pay for?
  4. 1. Be knowledge. Keep learning. 2. Learn to critically think. Being knowledge isn't enough. 3. Always do your best, your patient's life depends on it. 4. Learn to take constructive criticism. You need to continue to grow. 5. Nursing is ever changing. Change with it.
  5. Lord, thank you! All my favorite people are working with me tonight!
  6. You will be so nervous you may not sleep for the first day but don't worry, You'll stay awake! Find a routine that works for you. A workout in the am & nap in the afternoon is a good routine for me. Nights takes a while to get used to but it can be done. You will either love or hate it. Good luck! Hope you love it!
