I'm curious where you see constructive criticism? Also, the only responses I spoke of myself were in just that....responses. so where I did reiterate that I am not fresh off the boat, I didn't say let's go over my entire life story. It's irrelevant. Just looking for people to share their experiences. It's frustrating that the people who have shared have had to choose to do so via private message due to all the off topic nonsense some people have turned this post into. Let it be known that I am not "pissy" at all. I'm not "throwing tantrums" or "behaving" in any manor I've been accused of so far lol. Every time I open this board I have a good laugh. It's silly to me that a couple strangers with literally no knowledge of my state or the topic of the board have gone on and on trying to.....well I'm not even sure what their purpose is :/ lol Oh well, Internet warriors are everywhere I guess lol

.....you brought it up....lol but I'm going on and on? I remedied this by going back to the point of this post and asking you to share your method 3 experience...but you couldnt....because you have none. So here we are....again. because you brought it up....again. Regardless of how you feel, it's done. It happened. No one was hurt, angry, offended, or perceived to be out of line. Who cares. I did not perform any procedures, i simply stated when they werent being done correctly. I will question whoever I want. I will correct whoever I want. I have corrected state surveyors in the past. As an RT i showed rns how to suction, how to adjust vent settings, how to care for trachs etc. Who cares. I have received nothing but positive feedback from coworkers and supervisors, a random person on the Internet is not going to sway me lol. I hope you have other posts to troll on, I'm going to bed, I have work tomorrow.

You really jump to conclusions, don't you? I didn't go on and on. You call one post going on and on? Any subsequent post was in response to you....asking irrelevant question after irrelevant question and making assumptions. Now you are "going on and on" about me helping people at work. Yeah I told an rn to stop when she was hurting a patient. She didn't realize her mistake, she was mortified when she realized, she thanked me for stopping her. Yes I have been asked by my prior charge nurse to educate the floor. So what? The hospital I worked at was full of amazing people who shared each other's knowledge and showed each other how to do things, explained things to one another and worked together as a great team. It was amazing working there. People didn't disrespect you because of your job title. Yes I told a med student they were working on the wrong area of a patient. You know who asked me to explain that to them? Their lead physician who is a close friend of mines husband and whom was in the room. Traveling I got to see a lot of facilities with disrespectful nurses and unhappy cnas, but my cna days were great and when I transferred to RT those days were great too. But I had to move and no longer get to work in a learning hospital or as an rt. Oh well. Never was I out of my scope of practice. It's not as if I performed the procedures myself. Knowing how to do them is not out of scope. Working with a staff who quizzes and teaches each other was my blessing and because of them I know far more than I ever would have if I had worked elsewhere. BUT none of that even matters in regards to my post....because all I asked was for experienced people to share their insight.

And then when people started asking irrelevant questions and taking everything I said out of context I reiterated my original question instead of spilling 100% of my life story and making it all about me? It's shady to ask people to share their experience with a licensure method??? Lol. The point of the post was just that. Do I need to word it differently? Streamline it maybe? Here: Has anyone challenged the CA boards via method 3? If so, please share your experience. Is it clearer now?

My local hospital is 32 bed capacity total. Rt department never hires. I live 100 miles from the next nearest town in each direction. The nursing homes don't hire RTS and the hospitals are farther. I'm great at work. I'm great in interviews. I'm a team player. I'm excellent in emergency situations. I've never had a negative mark in the work place. Buy by all means, random avatar on the internet....attempt to insult a stranger based on assumption and ignorance lol. Sigh....you two must be bored, really.

I didn't ask if I was qualified, I know I am. There really isn't need to be questioning me. I simply asked for those who've done this to share their experience. So no....my background isn't relevant because what does my background have to do with someone else's experience? I asked to hear personal accounts.

Right. As I previously stated, my work/title/education/location/color of my shirt or any other random question thrown at me is all irrelevant to the question I asked. I didn't state my life story for a reason, I wasn't asking anything to do with it, I qualify, I know that. My question was who has done it, how was it. That's all
