I'm feeling really torn and I'm looking for some advice. I had applied to Mohawk College for the RPN program as my first choice (as it's closer to home) and ended up wait listed so I accepted my offer to Conestoga. School starts in just under two weeks (Sept 6th) and I just got an offer for Mohawk for the RPN program but it's January start date, AHH! The problem I'm having is that I'm not sure whether or not to continue on with Conestoga or whether I should wait it out and do Mohawk instead. From what I've read I know that a lot of the Mohawk program is self taught as well as blended learning which to be honest after completing a year of Mohawk already I found blended learning to be a pain in the backside. Is Conestoga set up the same way with the blended learning? It's hard to tell because half of our time table is conflicted and the other half isn't on the timetable yet. If anyone can offer some advice with regards to either program or their experiences with the programs that would be really great. I'm feeling really torn in which to take right now and I'm running on really limited time in which to make my decision. Thanks so much! Nicky

I found the HOAE quite difficult and ended up with a 79% score which apparently isn't too bad (I thought it wasn't that good) with grades like that I'm sure she will do really well. The HOAE tests all sorts of areas although being timed sometimes throws people off. Best of luck to her and you!

Sorry for the delay in response but thank you for your comments. I ended up accepting Conestoga for nursing as Mohawk said it could go until the 2nd week of September to hear back and I'm not willing to wait, SO excited to be going to Conestoga though, it's been a long dream of mine that is finally coming to life. Hi guys! So I've been wanting to do nursing for about 10 years now and finally got the opportunity to go back to school once both my kids were in school. I just finished my course in General Arts and Science and applied to 5 colleges (2 of them being Mohawk) for the Fall start date. I got accepted into Conestoga, but I'm waitlisted at Georgian and Mohawk (which is my first choice). My question is, when do the second round of offers go out approximately? I feel like this entire process has been a stressful waiting game and I like to plan ahead, this unknown is killing me. Thanks!
