  1. I got a rejection email today which was heart breaking but luckily I got a phone call right before that from Memorial Hermann and accepted a job in their NICU so I guess it was meant to be! Good luck everyone!
  2. I got a call today from the NICU and I got the job!! I interviewed once with a group and 4 interviewers and then went up to the unit and did my own interview with a panel. I know the PICU had a lot of candidates so I'm sure they will get to you guys soon enough!! Good luck!
  3. Hello! I also graduate and December and have turned in my application. Does anyone know when we are expected to hear from TCH? Hopefully it won't be too long after the application closes since other places are starting to interview! I want to wait for TCH if I'm able to!
  4. Thanks! I am looking around the Houston TX area and am currently looking into patient care associates. However, I do not know if that job will lead to solid experience or if I should instead try to become a CNA. Which I don't mind working as a CNA, I would just rather have a learning experience under an RN.
  5. Hello! I'm currently about to start my second semester of nursing school this fall and am thinking about getting a nursing-related job for summer 2017. I want to be in a clinical setting where I am able to learn but also make money (in order to keep paying for school!) My question is, is there anything I should be doing now to better my chances of getting a nurse tech job? If so, please let me know! Or if you have any advice on getting the job as a nursing student with no CNA experience, it would be very helpful! Thank you!
