Mizzou ABSN
Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has been through Mizzou's accelerated BSN program? I'm applying and was wondering how the process went for everyone/what my chances are for being accepted. There are a few posts on here about MIZZOU but they're from a while back. My GPA is 3.41 and I was wondering if that's competitive enough to get in. Thanks for any help!

UMKC Accelerated BSN
My friend went to UMKC's accelerated nursing and worked part-time when she went. I think she worked like 10-15 hours per week, but I'm not sure. She got her acceptance letter in March I think. However, there have been a few posts on here about the UMKC program possibly losing their accreditation. I haven't really researched it that much besides reading this article Mid-semester rule changes at UMKC School of Nursing surprise, upset students | fox4kc.com So basically if their NCLEX pass rates are below 80% 3 years in a row they are at jeopardy of losing accreditation.

Accelerated Nursing-Missouri
Thimba, Truman is a difficult school, not to say other schools aren't. They just focus a lot on setting their students up for graduate school, which is a good and bad thing. If you're looking into nursing you should apply to Goldfarb in STL. I know that as long as you meet the minimum requirements they admit you as long as you apply at least 12 months in advance for the term you want. You may be waitlisted for your top start date, but you'll definitely get in.

Accelerated Nursing-Missouri
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and just had some questions for anyone that has done an accelerated program in Missouri. I recently graduated from Truman State University in fall 2015 and am in the process of applying to accelerated nursing programs in Missouri. So far I'm planning on applying to UMSL and Mizzou. I'm nervous that I won't get into a program because my GPA is only 3.38, but I still have to take statistics, microbiology, and physiology. I plan on taking statistics and physiology this summer, so I can hopefully raise my GPA to 3.40. Has anyone with a similar GPA been accepted into either of these programs? Are there any other programs I should look into? I want to apply to at least 3. I've looked at Goldfarb and SIUE as well. I would appreciate any help/comments!
