  1. Since you are new to college I would recommend that you assess how you learn and what methods of learning work for you. For example, are you a visual learner. If so, use pictures, videos to help you. If you are an auditory learner, ask if you can record lectures. Other tips are to: get a tutor, talk to the professor to see how they can help you and test yourself (like you have been doing). First, test yourself prior to studying the material (assess your prior knowledge) then test yourself after you have studied to see what you learned from the chapter. Repeat if necessary.
  2. I think if you have a chance to withdraw then you should instead of taking a F. Have you been tested for test anxiety? I know I used to get anxious before tests and what helped me was those meditation videos for relaxation on YouTube and deep breathing. Also, what kind of learner are you? Once you find this out, find study guides like Mosbys Anatomy and Physiology Coloring Book, for example, that will enhance your studying.
  3. Hi. I remember when I had to take the teas exam to get into my nursing program. I thought the test was ok and that's only because I studied my weak areas like math. Some resources I used to help me study was the Teas V practice study guides from the local library and YouTube. What are the subjects that you are having issues with?
