  1. Hello All, I am the future nurse who originally started this thread! I decided to apply to MCPHS Spring 2019 cohort and was accepted! Good luck to all of you! Best, First2gradschool!
  2. Hello all, I just found this post and wondering if anyone applied to any schools in the south (bible belt) with low GPAs' and got accepted? I'm currently finishing up a full scholarship I received for graduate school (MPA) all A's & B's, however my undergraduate GPA is 2.9 and my prereqs are 3.4. Any chances of me getting into a traditional/accelerated BSN program?
  3. Hello there, I was wondering if anyone is planning on applying to the WSSU ABSN for the Spring 2019 cohort? If so, I would love to hear where everyone is from. If accepted, I plan on relocating from Massachusetts. From reading previous years' threads the program is pretty competitive so good luck to everyone!
  4. Hello All, I'm applying to the Spring 2019 ABSN cohort too. My undergrad GPA is 3.28, but I did well in my prerequisites' A&P I C+ A&P II B, Micro A Statistics A Human Growth & Development A- I also applied to A&T University. I can't wait to hear if anyone was accepted into the program.
  5. Hey there, I'll be starting a nursing program in the Fall and I have a G.E.D. I struggled in math, but I received tutoring and was able to pass the required courses. Please don't underestimate yourself because you may not have the skills or knowledge as of yet; that comes with practice! Good luck!
  6. Hello Annalisasmiles! Congratulations! I to applied to the AMSN program, but I am waiting to hear back. Scott from the graduate office informed me that the board will be meeting again in late April for another round of decision making. Wish me luck!
