TThank you. I was able to take the exam last night and did well. It definitely is not an easy test. My recommendation to anyone that wants to take the HLT 141 ABLE to puchase the textbook for the class and study it. I don't think I would have done as well without using the online practice questions that came with the textbook.

Thank you for following up. I will definitely let you know how it goes. As for the textbook, I went to the NVCC online bookstore and typed in HLT 141 and found the textbook for the class. Then ordered it from Amazon because it's cheaper. You can also rent the textbook to save money. In the book the first three chapters are basic and then the following chapters are all about the body systems. If you purchase the book you can access the online practice questions which also has a practice final exam. Textbook Info: "A Short Course In Medical Terminology" Third Edition By: C. Ashley, Thank you for the information. I am preparing to apply to the LPN to RN program at NVCC. When I called NVCC about the exam they did not inform me about a pass but told me to just head straight to the testing center. Thankfully, I read your post before showing up to take the exam. I wanted to know how the exam went for you? For myself, I purchased the book for the class to review. So far, it looks pretty straight forward. Thanks again for your post as I would have shown up expecting to test without a pass. Good luck!!
