  1. New River Community College in Dublin nr.edu/nursing
  2. One of the best resources for me was an app called Evernote. Works on all platforms and devices and for me as a visual/hands on learner with ADD/ADHD and severe dyslexia staying organized is imparative even more so then for the "regular" student. I was able to upload the instructor/text book lector outline prior to class and that gave me the ability to add what I needed most from the lector. Another great advantage is your able to input pictures, tables, chart ect right into the notes. So rather then saying "see table 7-3 in book ZXY on page 123" I can click a picture of it and boom it's right in the notes. Also your able to share notes via email with classmates in case someone missed a day, great way to make friends and be a team player.
  3. I will be happy to trade places with you! I am nearly the polar opposite, while the classroom/book work is my main struggle and I dominate in the clinical setting. Find the ME person in your class, suggest a trade... Have them help you with the hands on portion and you help them with the book stuff. While the NECLEX isn't a group effort the real world of nursing is, never be afraid to ask for help. Keep you chin up kiddo, it all comes in time.
