This one is for current and former nursing students. I'm preparing to start nursing school and want to know the things that helped you make it through nursing school. It could be anything - books, websites, supplements, equipment, music, study habits/strategies. I have my mind set for success, and would love some tips to help make it happen!
Interesting that you say that about Lubbock. Based on what I've experienced, mental health is still a very taboo subject for much of the population, which I can see causing some problems among people who need medical attention. Great tips! Thanks for chiming in.
I'm a non-traditional student that is about to change careers completely and start nursing school - my goal is to become a NP and eventually achieve a Ph.D or DNP. Anyhow, what do you all perceive as the most in-demand nurse practitioner specialty? I, of course, am at least 3 years away from having to make any decisions about which NP path to pursue, but I would love to get some outside opinions.
