  1. I have some anxiety issues and realized I would not be able to work in a hospital setting. Something about the beeping and other warning sounds just sets me off. Right now I am school nurse which has it's own type of stress. I have also worked in public health, low stress, great co-workers, excellent benefits, somewhat low pay. It was a very nice job though. I have also worked as an occupational health nurse for a large multinational corporation. It was prn but I could have worked everyday if I wanted. You are not a failure and there is some nursing out there for you.
  2. I had a student sent in from recess by a teacher to get an ice pack. The student reported she got hit in the head with a ball. I asked her what she was doing when that happened. She told me she was playing dodge ball! I told her she needed to get better at the game and sent her back. The teacher sent her in again so I gave her an ice pack. It's not my money.

I wouldn't even call it Ringworm. Call it a fungal infection instead. It might be from the gym mats. I see many students who are wrestlers with this round fungal infection of which you speak.
