To be honest, this is my first semester in nursing school. I wish i was in your shoes already almost finished. I would just finish and find something with your degree that is not as much hands on. Good luck to whatever you decide.

I do understand your concern about your mother, but any information on anybody away from what your instructor told you to do is bad....if you had a concern you should of asked someone. I really hope the best for you....being dismissed from a nursing program means you won't be in good standing if you apply somewhere else. Good luck to you!

Yes, I have the similarities as you do. Been in the medical field on and off since I was 19 years old. Raised both of my daughters on my own. Had a mortgage payment and have to work several jobs. Here I am today waiting for my letter to be accepted or not. Been a long journey. My heart is in the nursing field. Do not see myself doing anything else. Hang in there, it will get better for you. Have faith and keep going. Take care
