Been there, done that, what did you find to do out of your home? I'm looking for an at home job too. To tired to do what I have been doing, and the older we get, the harder it is to find a job!
  2. This kind of thing is not common, or it's certainly not supposed to be! My bad luck to have run into two companies that feel it's all right to forge a signature! I would never consider doing such a thing, nor allow it done to me. Are you thinking school nurse when you say education? Those jobs are very hard to get. Thanks for responding!
  3. Know about the school district, policies and procedures. go to a school nursing site and look at their language, abbreviations etc.
  4. I am a semi retired nurse, looking again, for a job. I have had bilat tkr's and have been out of the hospital environment for years. I have been in admin but just recently left a job because on of the owners forged my name on a Dr's order. I really don't want to do home care as getting on and out of some homes and performing some of the tasks associated with home care are hard for me due to the knees. Any ideas on jobs for "semi retired nurses"? I am looking towards non profits. As luck, or not, would have it, I found a position working with the DD population. However, 2 weeks into the job, a CM called and wanted to "write" my name on a yearly report! Answer was NO, and I am looking again. Again, any ideas for this frustrated nurse? Thanks!
