  1. I hate this...nurses pick on new nurses Sooooo much it's like they try to be better instead of taking you in and telling you what you could have done differently. Nursing is a fickle ***** vitals can change in a second if something is wrong...4 months is not enough time to figure out problem solving babes give your self more time( and experience) don't let those people make you feel differently you finished school passed your boards that's an accomplishment all in its self! It takes a special person to be a nurse. My few months of nursing was hell! I cried everyday now I'm teaching xoxo you'll be ok your not dumb but also be careful and use the knowledge I know you have
  2. I snubbed then un-snubbed !! But whoa I disregarded everything you said about nursing and confused by the animal explotation part! What?
  3. I feel the same! I'm a makeup artist costume maker and I am very creative !!! Thank u for your advice so much
  4. Sending you hugs thank you I agree!
  5. NO no nooooo I wish I had an opportunity for MORE patient care! Like I stated before I do LTC I have no time for bedside care and time to show empathy were it is very much needed! I'm burned out 60 patients 30 patients THIS IS WHAT I MEAN
  6. Im wrong I should say nurses in general...im referring to the long ours we work do you find time for a social life?
  7. Awesome feedback! I don't have words holy toledo
  8. Just leave? If you get a chance to read the past post I stated that I take care of my parents and I have been a nurse for 12 yrs I have been a nurse since I was 20 yrs old ( there i dated myself ) with the recent economy I KNOW I have a Career that most people are fighting for struggling through school to have...I know what I have I can get a job anywhere. But to pick up and find a new career at this stage in my life has been difficult especially since I don't really know what to major in. Something I will just as easily be able to find a job once I graduate
  9. Ahhhhh intimidation I've encountered that before...but are you single now?
  10. It's REALLY does really really does!
  11. Hello the message is directed to LPNS trust me as a LPN I notice the difference between LPNS and RNS you make more money and your options are definitely better than ours so I'm just referring to the lpns
  12. Hey love I asked this question because I noticed in my travels most LPNS don't take time for themselves...the 8 hr shifts take up most of there social life. I work with 6 LPNS on my shift...we are are single no kids and vary in different ages " one is 62 and said she just never had the time" thanks for the response I like the long weekend idea maybe I would do it mon and tue!
  13. I see a psychiatrist twice a week...I I'm learning about body buffers and how nurses allow people to invade their space without even knowing it!
  14. Im working on it!! I stopped going to church because I was " too tired" I would get off and sleep through the day it was my excuse for not going but In light of recent events and the way I have been feeling in know he's calling me back..thank you love
