  1. Didn't get in. This was my 3rd time applying.
  2. No. ? I'm getting impatient!!
  3. I've been wondering... How are we supposed to take the TEAS if most testing centers are closed? Cypress wants new and returning applicants to take the TEAS and submit their scores with their application... It's insane to require that, especially during this crazy time. ?
  4. Pre-req GPA: 2.62 (Planning on retaking microbio this Summer!) This is my 3rd time applying, I believe.
  5. Ah, congrats! It means you'll be able to replace whoever drops out of the program or declines their acceptance! You have to go to the orientation, as the letter says, to retain your alternate position.
  6. Yeah, I’m still waiting on Cerritos.
  7. Honestly, even if you’re at the highest tier, you have pretty low chances of getting in (3-5%). It’s honestly pure luck to get in
  8. Denied. Science GPA was 2.62
  9. You won’t get anything on the day you sign up. USPS starts sending notifications the next day.
  10. There’s this awesome thing called Informed Delivery, which shows you pics of the mail you’re getting! you can sign up at https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action Click the “Sign Up” button and put in your details.
  11. I see a letter coming in for me today as well! AAAAHHHHH!
  12. I understand your concern. However, I've done very thorough research and found that there's an electronic stethoscope that amplifies bowel/lung/heart sounds to the point I can hear them quite clearly. Percussion, though... I'll have to think about how I can work around that one somehow.
  13. I never said that the interpreters would do the assessment and other nursing care tasks on my behalf. They're only there for communication between pts, families, and other healthcare staff. 14. No, I haven't. However, I've spoken with ASL interpreter agencies who specialize in medical interpreting, and they say whoever will be my future employer will be required to pay the agency for a full-time interpreter based on the budget that the agency submits to the employer(s).
  15. Yes, I would. My employer would pay for all my interpreters, under the ADA.
