  1. You are amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing this information! I was under the impression you could actually choose your clinical site? Is that not true?? Obviously I would want to choose a hospital close to me!
  2. I got a call this evening as well :-) congrats you guys and I'll see y'all in August
  3. Congrats!!! Maybe I just need to harass them lol! I called today and left a voicemail.
  4. Well I heard nothing this week. Anyone else?
  5. Thank you so much for this information! Best of luck to you!
  6. I appreciate that thank you! I am worried because of my TEAS score. I took it back in 2014 before I had taken any college courses and had been out of school for about 6 years. I didn't retake it for this application because you are only allowed to take the test through ATI 3 times and I had already taken it twice in 2014. I didn't want to waste my last attempt just winging it with no proper time to study. My score was a 68 Which is the minimum score for this program. However, I have my LPN, great references, a lot of awards and honors and a 4.0 GPA. I was hoping that those things would override the low TEAS score. Guess we will see :-/
  7. Congrats!! As for me, I am freaking out now.. I turned in my app the first week in March and NursingCAS verified my app and sent it to the school on March 18th and I have heard nothing back. I emailed the lady who had been helping through this whole process and she said that they start reviewing apps this month and that it could be a couple of months before I hear anything. She also said that I would receive a call, email and letter if I made it in and only an email if I didn't. Uugh seriously I am so jealous of you right now that you heard back so soon! I am dying over here. I am not patient when it comes to these things lol I am a planner. I need to know now! Lol
  8. That was my understanding, as well. I was going to retake the TEAS since I have had so many classes since then that would greatly increase my score. But I only have one more shot left and I didn't want to just wing it without studying. I feel like since I have a great GPA and awesome references as well as great honors and awards that those things would prove I am a good student. Good luck to you!!! I will update on here as soon as I hear something. This waiting around is killing me. Lol
  9. i applied for the fall start date, as well. This waiting game is terrible! Let me know if any of you hear anything! My app was verified through nursingCAS two weeks ago...
  10. My application was verified through nursingCAS almost two weeks ago.. How long after your application was verified were you contacted by MNU to let you know that you were accepted? This waiting game is killing me!
  11. I spoke with someone at the school and they said my 2014 TEAS Is fine. And the minimum TEAS score is 68% so why would I not be considered having the minimum score?
  12. Wow!!! That is super fast! I am anxious now!! I thought it was going to take weeks! Lol congrats to you! I'll keep you updated! I am an LPN, have a 4.0 GPA but I took my teas in 2014 when I hadn't been in school for about 6 years and before any college classes and I got a 68.7 on the TEAS. Im hoping my GPA and overall application with achievements, personal statement etc. looks good and the TEAS score doesn't hold me back. Crossing my fingers, hoping and praying!!!
  13. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I have applied for the fall 2016 start date and am playing the waiting game now. I was curious how long it took for MNU to get back to you after your application was verified through nursingCAS?
