I would say go with your gut feeling! Nothing worse than taking on a job that you feel won't prepare you enough for your final goal. But, if you are in need of the money and can't wait for the period of finding something along the lines of what you prefer, that is something to consider.

Well that's good you're giving it another shot! Do you think the book is worth purchasing? Or was the test pretty basic math and reading? I'm currently debating if I need to study the book or not. The instructor said its 10th grade math and I'm in statistics so I've brushed up on algebra.. Good luck with this journey!

Curious, which 5 additional core courses are you speaking of? I'm pre-nursing student will be at BHC in the fall and trying to get insight on as many classes I can take to improve me points and chance of getting in the program. Thanks!

Hi! I'm currently taking pre-nursing classes in Denton but looking into Brookhaven to transfer because I've heard it is less competitive (which I know can change quickly) but I have a question, are the support classes counted towards points for applying? I'm reading the website and assuming those classes would be maybe microbiology? I see now that the points needed are at least 18. What was it when you applied to the program? Also, I read in your thread you were taking pharmacology before being accepted in the nursing program, is that considered a nursing course or support course? Everything is so different compared to where I'm attending school at now and the requirements change rapidly! So I'd like to reach out to people who are working their way towards applying at Brookhavens nursing program as well.. Did you take your science pre reqs at Brookhaven, if so who (professor) could you recommend for a&p 1&2 and chemistry? Thanks in advance for answering.
