  1. They offer new students and nurses who work for Northwell the same deal. You work for them and they will pay for your tuition. The Kicker is you owe them 5 years and I don't think you are guaranteed a hospital but that's a question you can ask.
  2. I got my acceptance two days ago, I was selected as an alternate. I cannot wait to meet everyone.
  3. I think they said Early April
  4. I think like 2 weeks. But there is a link on nursingcas but you can only pay until you are verified.
  5. I paid both. Once your nursing cas is accepted by the school they send you a link to pay the schools fee.
  6. I got declined, Good luck to everyone!
  7. According to the website the deposit is 200 dollars.
  8. Hey Guys I have an interview next week. I have a strong feeling this is the last week of the interviews. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing but I'm just happy I made the cut. Good luck to everyone!
  9. I applied but haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully everyone has heard back and/or interviewed.
  10. I started my application. It's an combined degree acute care NP and CRNA and the application is in Nursingcas. Good luck everyone. Just no information on how many credits but it's 1450 per credit so I assume around 80 to 100 credits.
  11. That's whats she said. That's why they won't let us know if we got rejected or accepted until December.
  12. Hey Everyone, I had an interview today and it went well. They have 150 applicants and only 24 slots. The interview is through zoom. Good Luck.
  13. I have applied, Just waiting on an email or call. Fingers crossed
  14. Just want to let you know I graduated last week! Thanks for the incite. Taking the NCLEX in 2 Months!

  16. So, I'm a 17 year Army medic finally starting Nursing school. I've been accepted to the College of New Rochelle Accelerated BSN program and I need help. I have been a field medic in Afghanistan, worked in a Army ER in Germany and been the NCOIC of multiple clinics. I have 3 years to retire from the Army reserves and I wonder how Nursing School will be. Will it be all new information? Should I not expose my skills and just learn, I have been taught to take charge for a long time. I just don't want to be over bearing in class and I want to do well without interruptions. Please help.
  17. So, I'm getting all my paper work straight. I don't know if anyone else thinks its ridiculous that we have to pay that background fee but Whatever. Everyone Ready for orientation June 7th. (For the accelerated starting in June).
  18. I got declined today, but I'm not sulking. I am blessed to have gotten accepted to CNR. Everyone who is going to NYU I wish you all the best!!!

  21. I am using the post 9/11 GI bill to pay for the program. I filled out FAFSA but I won't have to use it to the last 3 months. I haven't figured out whether I will take the metro or not
  22. I asked a couple of friends about the program and they speak highly of it. Especially with this new Dean coming in. They say the NCLEX rate isn't great but it has gotten better. I am not expecting anything but studying all the time lol. I will be commuting from White plains, Driving most likely. How about you futurenurse4
  23. Congrats on completing your first semester nem90, How is the class schedule? Is it Mon-Fri, no days off? Do you commute, Train or drive? I will be taking the train if I get accepted and I live in white plains NY. Are you in the same classes as the traditional students? And lastly, how large are the classes (speaking mostly about how many students). Oh and how did you do? Was it ridiculously difficult like I hear about all the accelerated programs?
  24. I still have to fill mine out..doing that today actually. I am not using financial Aid but I probably should fill it out any way..
