Cars are not necessities at all in Boston/Cambridge/Somerville. It'll just be more parking and insurance etc that you have to deal with. The school is right in the city and all the major hospitals are accessible via public transport, so as long as you live on the mbta line you'll be fine. I personally will be driving into the city and parking in the Simmons garage but that's just because I plan to live further out....

Also, I need to take one more chemistry class - does anyone have any experience with online chemistry classes? I either need to take a Chemistry II or an Organic Chemistry class. Anyone familiar with the biochemistry class that Simmons offers? Thanks!!!!!

Oh my gosh, me too! I never received an email or anything but I got a big fat package in the mail today! So incredibly grateful! I'm on the waitlist for MGH and that's the only other school I would consider at this point. I guess I'm wondering if others have considered the two and what their thoughts are....
