Being a CNA in the PICU
Yes I had the interview there earlier today and they told me what the job entailed. I didn't get a chance to look around though because I wasn't scheduled to have a job shadow but I still want to work in this unit, I'm praying I get the job thank you í ½í¸Š

Being a CNA in the PICU
Oh okay I volunteered in the NICU last year and what you just explained is what I noticed the CNAS doing (mostly desk work and answering phone calls). Thank you :)

Being a CNA in the PICU
I just graduated from a nursing assistant program and I have an interview at a hospital for a position in the PICU on Monday. I was wondering what are some of your experiences being a CNA in that unit or being a nurse working with cnas in that unit?

It's really hard for me to do blood pressure
I'm a cna student and I'll be graduating this may we started doing clinicals and I tried blood pressure for the the first time and Its really hard. I've been practicing and I just can't get it. I'm scared that this will hold me back and I'll never get it. My problem is reading the systolic and diastolic and it might be the way let the air out of the cuff too. Please help. Any advice???

@ ronaksc Yay! I'm glad you made it through. I'll be starting Bio. 110 in the summer and I plan on finishing all of my bios and the rest of the pre-reqs so I can just focus on the nursing classes but I'm a little worried about the TEAS test (the math portion) because I'm not good at math but hopefully if I try my hardest I'll get in and is it true they only expect 10 people in the program?

Studying for the TEAS test?(math portion)
I'm bad at math and I'm worried that I won't pass the Exam because of that. What are some helpful ways to study for the math portion of the TEAS test besides buying a practice exam book.

Can you live off of a certified medical assistant salary?
I was wondering can you buy your own place and stuff with CMA salary?
