Low KAPLAN scores!! Passed the NCLEX RN!
I quickly wanted to share my experience with people who got low Kaplan scores. Mine were mostly between 50-60 and I would have been discouraged if others hadn't posted their low scores. Others passed with low scores and so did I. I did every single question and I passed nclex in 75 questions. They key is doing lots of questions!! Also, Kaplan was much harder than nclex. So my advice is that don't let your grades bother you and do all the questions! Read rationales and you'll be fine! 😀

PVT IS DEAD! Don't try the "new" trick
Hello, i just had to put my 2 cents in here. I took my test feb 7th of this year and checked an hour later and it would not let me register again. I did it again about 8 times to keep checking and sure enough I passed. It worked for me.

First of all congrats! I am currently in the program now. The hours that you get for clinical depend on the semester and clinical rotation. They requires so many hours per rotation that you need to complete. Also, you of get to pick your clinical rotation in a way. For example you will get about 4-5 places with specific times to choose from and you will label your choices from 1-4 with number 1 being your first choice and 4 being your last. You can also switch with someone if they are willing. I hope this helps.

You can apply as long as you are either doing or registered for you pre reqs, but I think you can only have one that hasn't been actually completed. So say you applied in the summer and you had one class left to do in the fall, that would be fine as long as you give them your transcript ASAP.

UCONN CEIN 2016
Hello! I am currently in the 2016 CEIN program. I think a lot of the kinks have been worked out since last year. From the other posts I read, I think it's a lot more organized. I just survived the midterm. Here's the main point of this program... if you put everything you have into this, you really can't fail. Make sure you have a good support system and I suggest not working. It's non stop and you need good organizational skills. It's overwhelming at first, but it gets better. I come from a medical background and that helps a lot, but there are people who are not from a medical background that are also doing well. It DEFINITELY can be done, just be prepared to work!
