  1. I was selected this year to attend Sierra College and I was wondering if you guys had any tips/ advise for students who are about to be in the same position as yourself in a few short months. Thanks :)
  2. There have been acceptances into both ARC and SCC. They sent them out last week and the week before respectively.
  3. Awesome! I found it! Looking forward to meeting you guys!!
  4. Same as Todd94- nothing from ARC but did get something from Sierra.
  5. Check your emails guys!! I just got my acceptance email just now!!
  6. This go around, there doesn't seem to be a lot of acceptance posts. Usually there are at least a handful each time. I think there was one- with a few alternates. Anyone get their "qualified not accepted" email yet?
  7. I know the last 2 times I didn't get in, they sent the qualified but not accepted emails anywhere from 3pm to as late as 8:30pm.
  8. Anyone else have any good news to share?
  9. Here's hoping they are still sending out acceptances!!
  10. Congratulations!
  11. Today is officially 8 weeks since the deadline- so I think by the end of this week we should hear something.
  12. You can pull it up on losrios.edu.....at ARC-search nursing for Fall 2017. It looks like the days are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. Times range from 6am- 3:40pm with one lab section in the late evening from 2:30 pm- 11:40pm. Hope that helps!
  13. Ok- I cannot be the only one on here who saw "I was accepted...." and had a minor heart attack! I didn't apply to SCC and when I saw that- my stomach dropped thinking it was about ARC! I vote we separate the schools into separate threads next time!!
  14. I haven't heard anything yet. I know last year it was around April 26-29 for both Sierra and ARC to send out emails. Last semester ARC was like 2 weeks earlier than their normal schedule. Let's hope for the same this semester!
  15. I was number 52 I believe. For those who are worried about status changes, don't be! Usually they are quicker to change those who have applied before than those who haven't applied before. I know the first time I applied it took forever! Have patience and before you know it, your status will change!
  16. Application status changed to "application qualified" today.
  17. I would assume the ADN program...but I would call just to double check.
  18. I believe they say it's anywhere between 300-500 a year. I wish Sierra had a statistics page like ARC does, that would be helpful!
  19. I took my Bio's at Sierra and the rest in GA. I'm kind of limited on where I can go due to the fact that I live in Placerville and I can't just pick up my family and move. So I'm with you on the whole I need to get in!!! :)
  20. I have 75 points with ARC- I'm not applying to SCC because I haven't taken one of the pe-req's (SOCI 321 or something).
  21. Hello! This will be my 2nd time applying to Sierra and my 3rd to ARC. Hoping to get into either program honestly! Best of luck!
  22. Hello! This will be mine 3rd time applying to ARC- hoping 3rd times a charm! Best of luck to everyone!! :)
  23. Thank you...and the same to you! :)
  24. This was my second time applying- so I shouldn't be too upset, but I am disappointed. But onwards and upwards!!
  25. Just got the dreaded email about not being selected. Best of luck to those who were selected!
