  1. so sorry for the late response. I didn't get any notifications about this post. Yes 32,000 without cost of living is about right. There are other costs like parking permits for hospitals and live scans that aren't included. Yes there are some really bad professors and some good professors. I came from a UC so I'm used to bad professors haha. They weren't that different.
  2. Stats: Undergrad GPA: 3.1 Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 TEAS 99 percentile I am currently in the program and they are switching from quarters to semesters currently so it seems a bit disorganized. The lecture professors are okay. I think I am learning a lot and the classes are geared to passing the NCLEX. I think there was a 100% pass rate for the previous cohort. The clinical instructors I've had were great and my clinical experiences have been at well-known hospitals in the area like Huntington Hospital, LA County-USC, and Kaiser. The students in my cohort are fairly young, 1-3 years out college to up to 10-15 years out of college so it varies. The previous cohorts have had people with children. I don't think its an issue... everyone gets along! I do not know about how affordable rooms for rent are near campus, but Alhambra and Monterey Park are where my classmates live. I lived in LA my whole life so I enjoy it. There is a lot of traffic and you will need a car to get to your clinical sites, some are up to an hour away with traffic. let me know if you have any other questions!
  3. Hello Everyone, I was accepted for Fall 2016! yay! I was wondering if anyone has heard anything negative about the program... besides the cost and you're getting your master's instead of a bachelor's. They made it seem too good at the interview haha.. I am trying to decide between schools and for now this is still my top choice, but I am trying to make an educated decision. Thank you!
