To all the the 40s and over. Thank you for sharing. You're all an inspiration. Sometimes I question myself if I can make it through, and reading your posts validate that it's never too late for our age.

It's never too late. I am 50 and I just completed my prerequisites which I started when I was 48. Yes there are difficult courses but even the 20 yrs old classmate found it difficult. 40 is not too old. Think about it, you'll be earning a nurse's salary when you're 44 which is just around the corner.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

which school did you graduate BSN? Did you study BSN right away or where you from the Associates RN program?

You're not crazy. I'm 49 who enrolled at a Community College in Jersey last year. I'll be done with my prerequisites on Spring of 2017, then I'll do the Nursing courses. I had the same question before but I met someone who started nursing school when he was sixty yrs. old and now he works in a hospital. Keep going.

Hi. The title reads Nursing school. Did you mean LPN school? Because nursing school prepares you to become an RN not LPN. Correct? I'm confused.
