Summer 1: One week long class - Intro to Nursing (Thurs, Fri then Mon, Tues, Wed roughly from 8-4) Fall 1: classes were on Mondays and Tuesdays - we had Wednesdays off Patho/Pharm 1 Patho/Pharm 2 Fundamentals Clinical I (1-2 days per week - Thurs/Fri/Sat (Thurs or Fri or Sat, or Thurs&Fri) Health & Physical Assessment (class & lab) Spring: Classes Monday and Tuesday Community (online) Community clinical (wednesdays) Med Surg Clinical (Thurs or Fri or Sat and Thurs&Fri) Research Summer - not sure on the details of clinical, we are just registering for classes now Maternity (online) Maternity Clinical Psych (online) Psych Clinical Pedi (online) Pedi Clinical Fall 2 Internship (could be in a bunch of different places) NCLEX Prep class (new for our year, idk details) Professional Role of the Nurse (random days throughout the semester you have to be on campus but not many days) I would definitely not suggest a 12 month program. This program is alot as it is...I can't imagine doing it in 12 months. It's fast pace but it's doable in 17 months. Plus we still get the regular breaks like winter break (month long) which is a MUCH needed break before the crazy spring semester. The professors in this program and very understanding and many have been through this program themselves. They listen to our feedback and do whatever they can to help us. I think this program is worth the money. I was also going between this program and a 12 month and I chose this one because I felt like I would be getting more for my money. I would have more time to actually learn and comprehend the info instead of cramming for 12 months. Overall I am happy with my decision.
