  1. I also work for UHS for almost two years. Got my experience and time to move on!
  2. I work in NJ at a 110 bed short term facility. The LPNs only pass medications. RN is always in charge.
  3. I just graduated in DECEMBER 08. It was still a three year program. I am not familiar with the course outline for the two year program. I was told by staff that they couldn't cut any corners just had to condense the material. I'm glad it was still a three year program, cause I felt it was tuff enough as it was. Staff is very supportive. They want their students to be successful. I don't know any anyone in my class that didn't pass the NCLEX. Hope this helps.
  4. I took Kaplan and think Kaplan did help me pass on the first try. I however did not use the decision tree. I went to all of there classes, took all the on-line exams and used every question in the q-bank. With that I feel it prepared a C student to pass with 85 questions. The format was exactlly the same as NCLEX. When I sat down and started the NCLEX I was already comfortable with the layout. It was like taking a q-bank quiz. Hopes this helps. Also know all your important lab values.
  5. Your scores were alot higher then mine and I passed with 85 questions. You are fine.............
  6. diagnostic test 62% readiness test 63% test 7 62% every question in q-bank passed nclex with 85 questions agree with kentstategrad regarding Kaplan. great tool
  7. OMG I feel so sorry for you guys. That is CRAZY and torture. I thought I was gonna die waiting 48 hours. The roller coaster I was on was horrible. I can say for once in my life that I am glad I live in New Jersey. lol
  8. I know it is torture. Just keep busy and time will go by. Best of luck to you.
  9. I wish you luck in your upcoming interview. I went to Helene Fuld so cannot help you.
  10. I took my NCLEX-RN tuesday and also had 85 questions and also PASSED. What a great feeling.
  11. I graduated in December. Took my boards Tuesday and passed with 85 questions. Thanks Helene Fuld! Great program.
  12. I never heard of the How to pass 101, but the Kaplan on-line Q-bank was very helpful. I took every question on there. You got select to make a test on the questions that you got wrong. This was a GREAT tool. The NCLEX was set up exactly like the questions Kaplan offered in the Q-bank so it felt like another Kaplan quiz. I only took Kaplan, so cannot say or judge other review courses. I also bought other NCLEX review books but once I got the Kaplan book I used nothing else. Kaplan goes by the blue print for the NCLEX. Tells you what and where to concentrate. I was a C student in nursing school. I am a single parent with two kids, three dogs and planning a destination wedding in July. So I think to pass with only 85 questions the first time around tells you I studied hard with the help of Kaplan. I would not have passed without that course. I swear I don't work for Kaplan. lol Best of luck. I need to look for a job.
  13. April?? To take the NCLEX? I haven't passed yet. Let you know Thursday. I took Kaplan and think the online q-bank questions helped alot. The classes at the Kaplan sites were boring and I felt a waste of time. You would have a reading assignment and when you return to class you would review questions, You could do that at home. Anything else let me know.
  14. I took my NCLEX-RNfor the first time this morning and of course like everyone else on this forum was doing I'M FLIPPING OUT. I wasn't paying attention to the number of questions I answered but it was around mid 80's. I was alittle upset when I went passed 75, but said to myself your still in this. This is gonna be the longest wait EVER. Is it really 48 hours??? Do you think my number is good?? I know nobody knows. I just want this nightmare over. I want a life again. Thanks for listening.
