  1. Hey guys! I got accepted for summer 2016 and just finished up my 3rd week of nursing school whoop whoop! Anyway, sounds like yall have great stats! Just be yourself in the interview. Sell your strengths and always relate back to the main goal of why nursing and why you would be a good nursing student/nurse. If anyone has volunteer experience at the hospital, caretaking experience, cna/ma experience, USE those experiences to the best of your knowledge!
  2. Awwwww :/ I'm sorry. That sucks. I am not sure what it is looking like right now. I know a few APL students were called and I think an RPL was. I don't know numbers though. :/
  3. KIRBIEA AND ZAIZAI: They are waiting on 8 APL and 5 RPL to RSVP as of today... Deadline is monday. Keep the faith!
  4. KIRBIEA: You still have a chance. You said your TEAS was on the low side right? Maybe consider retaking it to make a higher score, in case you reapply for fall!
  5. Definitely excited to meet everyone! Yay!!!!!! Congrats to you all!
  6. VIKEA: CONGRATS! I got into RPL, which is the program I applied to! YAYYYYYY!!!!!! Any other admits????? Hope to meet you all very soon!
  7. Yeah it's hard to tell. Everyone is so smart already... It's hard for them to weed everyone out. Just hoping to see an admission email tomorrow! Lord willing!
  8. I feel ok. I had one hiccup in my response and had to stop a second but then continued on with my response San finished strong. I answered every question with a cna experience and answered from the heart. Idk what they are looking for. I def was nervous and my interviewers were great as well!
  9. How did it go for everyone! What a relief that it is finally over!! Good Luck everyone!
  10. You are NOT alone hun! We are all nervous wrecks! I woke up coughing this morning, but I think it's the pollen getting to me. Still taking Emergen C and going to grab allergy meds and cough drops. I am just continually going over questions and responses and how I can manipulate my responses to fit different questions! I am really excited to get this over with tomorrow as it is taking up my whole life. :) lol
  11. I am so ready to get this over with!! lol and those are great stats! It really is all about the interview! lol Everyone is more than qualified when it comes to academics.
  12. maeg_1229 Hi! My full name is Emily lol whats yours? How are your stats? Hopefully we are in the same group! My nerves are killing me but my last shift killed me as well so I am too exhausted to be nervous. lol I feel like this week is going by so slow! My biggest fear is drawing a blank and jumbling my thoughts!
  13. I feel prepared though. Also, I am surprised not many others are on this thread. I was looking at past threads and there would be like 20 consistent people going back and forth. lol
  14. While this is my first time applying to nursing school, I still would be devastated if I got denied. I have worked so hard. I def plan to reapply for fall if I don't get in and I also will apply to FSCJ. I just really want to get into a BSN program and not have to get my associates first. I guess it really just matters to nail that interview. Sometimes, i forget names so my mission for friday is to remember my groups names. lol
  15. Yes! Lol like I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a nervous breakdown if I don't get accepted haha I've talked out loud to myself over and over again pretending like I'm in the interview trying to make eye contact with invisible people!
