  1. New Jersey CDS class

    For everyone's info, the NJ board of nursing accepts the online CDS course through Barkley and Associates. There's 3 courses that amount to 6.5 credits and it cost approx 90$. Did it in one night! Was just notified my NP license was finall processed so it definitely works.

    Is the CDS course required if you've been an NP for many years in another state? I have had so much difficulty confirming with the NJ board of nursing that I even need to take this CDS course since i've been a NP since 2009 in NY prescribing controlled substances. I still haven't heard back from them but need to take the course ASAP. Does anyone know of any other places to take this CDS course that appears to be required for the NJ NP license? The only places I found that offer it are Rutgers (March class is full) and Monmouth but thats not till May. Anyone know anywhere else in NY, PA, anywhere??
